It is that time of year again! Family Channel has just announced the line up for this year’s Big Ticket Summer Concert! 2015 marks Big Ticket Summer Concert’s fourth birthday, and Family Channel is pulling out all the stops with this year’s concert line up and tour route.

Last year, Cody Simpson, Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Nicole, The Next Step dancers and Crystalyne rocked the Big Ticket Summer Concert stage with Calum Worthy as their host. Stopping in three Canadian cities it didn’t seem like the show could get any bigger…until now! For the first time ever, the Big Ticket Summer Concert series will be stopping in seven cities across Canada from August 15^th to August 25th.

Hitting the stage is singer songwriter Becky G. At only 18, Becky G has already released her first EP Play It Again, toured with Austin Mahone, recorded songs with Cody Simpson and Cher Lloyd, and is currently working on her debut album. Joining Becky G on stage as she makes her Canadian debut is British pop-rock band The Vamps. Having toured with Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony, and Shawn Mendes last summer, The Vamps are no stranger to performing on stage. Most recently, The Vamps have collaborated with recording artists Demi Lovato on “Somebody To You”, and Canada’s own Shawn Mendes on “Oh Cecila”. Also taking the Big Ticket Summer Concert stage is Shane Harte who you may recognize as a guest star from The Next Step. Los Angeles’ band The Tide will also be joining Becky G, The Vamps, and Shane Harte on stage.

Hosting this year’s show is Lamar Johnson and Jordan Clark who play West and Giselle on The Next Step. The rest of The Next Step cast will also take the Big Ticket Summer Concert stage for their fourth year with what is sure to be a show stopping dance performance.

Tickets for the Big Ticket Summer Concert series go on sale to the general public Friday June 5^th. But, POPTakeover has the code word you need to access Family Channel’s Big Ticket Summer Concert presale.
